The Savera rooms were revamped in October 2015. They are "better than three-star standard" and are comfortable and spacious and reflect contemporary design. In addition they feature all modern conveniences.
These include air-conditioning, plasma TVs, Wifi, satellite TV and in-room dining. Rooms are tastefully created in keeping with the overall "Indian 1860" theme. Each room is named after a district that Indians settled into, after they migrated to South Africa.
These go from Durban on the east coast to Lenasia, inland near Johannesburg and Malabar, a suburb of Port Elizabeth on the Eastern Cape coast.
